The property is located in the hamlet of the town of Antagnod located at the peak of the Ayas Valley, at about 1700 meters above the sea level. Antagnod is a small village perfect for families: in fact there are the ski lifts (which are 300 meters from the residence), ideal for children or for those who are learning how  to ski. For expert skiers, however, from Antagnod you can easily reach Champoluc, about 4 kilometers far, from here you can move in the beautiful area of the Monterosa Ski that extends to Alagna. In the village there are also some buildings of historical interest, first of all the parish church of St. Martin from the second half of the fifteenth century and the Maison Fournier: a typical building in which there’s a permanent exhibition of the typical local crafts.  In summer, however, Ayas offers the possibility to rest in a cool place and to devote to many beautiful walks at different difficulties, from walks of a few hours to glacier walks. For  our hosts, who love the mountains, the Grand Tournalin refuge is perfect choice, it is easily accessible on foot or by jeep and it allows you to enjoy an excellent lunch at altitude and to tackle more challenging walks.

Especially in summer the municipality of Ayas organizes events week by week in order to provide a wide choice both for sport and for culture lovers and for those who want a little entertainment during summer evenings. From this year, in Champoluc  a new spa has been opened where you can  relax and take a wonderful rest.  Among other things, from Ayas several structures of regional interest may be reached, such as  the Fort of Bard (about 35 km from Antagnod) and some of the beautiful Aosta Valley castles (the castle of Verrès and Issogne  are about 30 km from the residence). The fort with its history and its temporary exhibitions in the interior is perfect for days of bad weather and for those who want a holiday full of culture. A holiday aimed to gastronomy in Ayas is possible too, thanks to the numerous restaurants which offer traditional dishes and local wines. In addition, the Fromagerie of Brusson offers the chance to buy a wide choice of typical cheeses (like the tasty Fontina), homemade jams and, naturally, our wines.
